I saw this idea in a challenge at Sweet Shoppe Designs initially, and thought it was brilliant. I was looking for something to help me keep a list of things I needed to do for my home business. I was constantly writing lists and then misplacing them or putting a spread sheet together on my computer and not wanted to bother with opening it up later. This new idea was just perfect for me. It turns out that glass is a good dry erase surface, so if you frame a list and hang it on your wall it will become a dry erase list. I decided that the tasks that I need to do each week would be on the sheet but that I would leave room for extra tasks for that week too. At the end of each week I just wipe it clean and start over for next week. Here are two that I came up with:

So how do you make one?
- Measure your frame - mine were 11x14 inches.
- Open your favorite digital program and create a layout in that size.
- Use your digital supplies to create a list or chart or whatever you want.
- Flatten the image. (Not necessary but sometimes easier so that you don't accidentally mess it up in the next steps.)
- You can Save it now and send it off to be printed somewhere. OR
- Crop the image to a size you can print - for me that was 8.5x11 so I cropped the top half of my first one and the left half of my second one.
- Print (I used borderless on my printer.)
- Undo your crop. Crop again so you get the other half of the sheet (the bottom or right half for me)
- Print again.
- Depending on the size of your document and what your printer can print you may need to crop more times to get each section printed.
- Then assemble the sheets very carefully. You can tape them together on the back to help hold them.
- Frame.
- Use dry erase markers on the glass surface to add things or cross things off.
If you are interested, I put together two PSD templates - one for each of my to do lists shown above. You are welcome to download them and use them!
Have fun and keep scrapping memories!
